Perforated Steel Panel designed by Mount Fuji Architects is intended to define the word “Transparency”. The Panel was made of lace-like steel 3 mm thick that filters light like sunshine through foliage, with holes punched out in a floral pattern depicting cherry blossoms, a traditional Japanese Ise paper stencil pattern.
French artist Xavier Veilhan invited some of the world famous architects to strike a pose for his latest “Scan and sculpts architects” projects. The result was shown at the Chateau de Versailles last year.
